Mentorship

Once absorbed as a life practice versus something you "do" once in a while, yoga becomes the gift that keeps on giving. Learn the yoga skills that last a lifetime on and off the mat. Gain breath, relief, strength, endurance, mobility, peace, confidence, ease and knowledge. I offer 60 minute or 30 minute yoga classes tailored to your needs 1:1, 1:2, or in groups of 3 or more. Great for personal growth, dates w a friend or loved one, gifts, vacations/staycations. Celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, bachelor/ettes, reunions, holidays.

 

Practice at a beautiful, clean private yoga studio in one of four locations in Noe Valley or in the Mission in San Francisco, CA. If you can't make it to the studio, I offer virtual sessions.

Self-Realization Through 1:1 Study​

​Private yoga sessions in-studio or online can expedite your path to self-realization:

  • Would you like to see if yoga can help manage chronic pain, stress, illness, or injury as a compliment to western and eastern health care practices?

  • Ready to master a specific asana such as chaturanga (halfway down pushup), salamba sirsasana (headstand), or adho mukha vrksasana (handstand)?

  • Would you like to include a yoga teacher as a part of your care team during the prenatal and/or postnatal journey?

  • Need help starting a home vinyasa, hatha, yin, or restorative asana (physical posture); pranayama (breath control), or dhyana (meditation) practice?

  • Seeking ways to embrace yoga philosophy as a way of life off the mat at work or at home?

 

If would like to work together, please email me with your focus and a few days/times M-F that you are generally/regularly free for practice.

 

Studio Locations

In-studio sessions are held at Mobu Dance Church St, Mobu Dance Day St, Yoga Flow SF Noe, or Lotusland Yoga SF depending on availability. I send calendar invites as our confirmation of date and location.

 

Frequency

 

I recommend a frequency of 1x to 2x/week to leverage neuroplasticity and witness physiological changes.

 

Medical Claims, HSA/FSA

 

I can provide invoices for medical claims upon request. I’m in the process of setting up HSA/FSA payments.

 

Rates

 

  • Single session (60 min): $200/session

  • 5-session packages: $900 ($180/session, a 10% discount)

  • 10-session packages: $1,700 ($170/session, a 15% discount)

 

My rate covers my experience, education, training, operational costs, and preparation of custom programming or educational materials for you to keep — in addition to the sessions themselves. I design a program customized to each student’s focus by leveraging,

  • 10 years yoga teaching experience

  • 16 years of yoga study/practice

  • 490 hours of yoga teacher training, including prenatal/postnatal

  • Shared Indian heritage with yoga

  • Personal experience with pelvic and knee physical therapy, eastern diet and medicine, acupuncture, egg retrieval, weight lifting, former athlete/dancer; chronic pain survivor

  • MS/PhD in biomedical engineering including human anatomy, physiology, biology, biochemistry

  • Experience applying yoga philosophy at work as a scientist/engineer and executive leader at startups and publicly-traded companies

 

Policy

Session(s) or packages do not expire and cannot be returned/refunded. As a sole practitioner with a schedule of clients, session cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refunded balance (except in emergencies). Thank you for your support.
